Yolanda "Lil" Troiano, 96, of Carroll Twp., died on Tuesday, October 21, 2014.  Born on August 21, 1918, she was the daughter of the late Altobrando and Filomena Baldini and step-daughter of the late Ottavia Baldini.  

She was a graduate of Donora High School, class of 1936, and was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, Golden Agers, and was an avid card player with the Craven Hill card club.  She owned Virginia's Beauty Shop, in Donora, until marriage, and worked in the physical lab at US Steel.  

Lil is survived by her son, Paul Troiano, and wife Emily, of Columbus, OH; grandson, Tony Troiano; and great-granddaughter, Anya Marie Dixon.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Raymond N. Troiano; and brothers, Santa, Charles, Carlo, and Albert Baldini.  

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, October 24, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, celebrated by Rev. Jerry Mikonis, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
