William S. Indorante, 90, of Charleroi, died Saturday, March 21, 2015 in Mon Valley Care Center.
He was born in Charleroi on February 2, 1925, a son of the late Joseph and Josephine (Conti) Indorante.
William was a retired Metallurgist for Wheeling Pittsburgh Steel Allenport. He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church in Charleroi and served in the US Army during World War II.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Shannon of Charleroi and Joanne (Mario) Carcella of Belle Vernon; son, William J. (Tammy) Indorante of Fallowfield Township; grandchildren, Kim (Brad) Flament, Kelly (Buddy) Woodall, Scott Shannon, Jimmy (Ann) Theys, Jason (Tina) Theys, and Matthew and Makayla Indorante; 10 great grandchildren; and 1 great great grandchild.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Margaret; second wife, Ruth; daughter, Peggy Ann Indorante; and sisters, Jessie Hazuka, sister, Rosalie Bruce.
Friends will be received Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm in the Carl J. Spallino Funeral Home, 819 Fallowfield Avenue, Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday at 10 am in Mary, Mother of the Church, celebrated by Rev. Gerald Mikonis.
Interment, with Military honors, will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
