William Balogh Obituary

William Frank Balogh, 95, of Charleroi passed away on Friday, October 11, 2024. Born on February 11, 1929 he was the son of the late Daniel and Rose Balogh.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Charleroi and was an avid hunter and had a great love for the Steelers and Pirates and always enjoyed talking to people. He was a proud veteran of the US Navy, having served in WWII and he was a retired butcher for the former A & P in Charleroi.

William is survived by a son, Scott Balogh, and girlfriend Sherry Hewitt, of Charleroi; sister-in-law, Billie Jean Gumbert, of Allenport; grandchildren, Todd Balogh and Karli Rae Balogh; and 2 great-grandchildren.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his wife, Margaret Balogh; son, William C. Balogh; daughter, Marcy Balogh; and sisters, Bertha, Ruth and Betty.

As per William's wishes, all services will be private.
