Victor G. Oravec, Jr., 85 of Charleroi passed away on Monday, April 8, 2024. Born on November 19, 1938 he was the son on the late Victor and Bertha (Gido) Oravec.

He was Catholic by faith and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving as a helicopter mechanic.

Victor is survived by his wife, Lena (Rodgers) Oravec; son, Victor (Karen) Oravec, of Kentucky; daughters, Victoria DeZardo and Michele Zubritsky, both of Charleroi; grandchildren, Brandy, Brandon, Alyssa (Tim), Mia, Lauren, Josh and Shane; great-grandchildren, Chelsey, Ryan, Natalia and Gaige; brother, Michael Oravec; and sister, Rosemarie Spellman.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a daughter, Mary Lou (Matt) Canestrale; brother, Ronald Oravec; and sister, Christine Mudrick.

As per Victor's wishes, services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
