Stewart W. Diess

Stewart W. Diess, 73, of Finleyville, passed away on November 24, 2019. Born on August 12, 1946, he was the son of the late Wilbur and Cynthia Diess.

He was a veteran of the US Navy and was retired from US Steel, Irvin Works.  He was a member of Wright's United Methodist Church, Venetia, where he attended services every Sunday.

He is survived by wife, Barbara Diess, of Elizabeth; son, Shawn Diess, of Elizabeth; daughter Heather Diess; grandchildren, Daria, Hannah, and Miranda; great-grandson, Braxton; and sisters, Fran Davis and Diane Diess-Evans.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by sister, Charlyss Jobes; and granddaughter, Jocelyn.

Friends will be received from 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, November 26 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Wednesday in the funeral home, with his Pastor Richard Roberts and interment following in Mon Valley Memorial Park.
