Sharon Ramsey

Sharon Flaherty Spadafora Ramsey, 78, of Charleroi, passed away on Saturday, September 21, 2019. Born on August 14, 1941, she was the daughter of the late Kathryn Burger Flaherty.

She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and the Christian Mother's. She worked as a hairdresser in the area and also at Medved's Pharmacy, in Charleroi.

Sharon is survived by her daughters, Lisa (John) Kite, of Monongahela, and Nicole (Brad) Belcher, of Tuscaloosa, AL; sister-in-law, Anita Gray, of Texas; grandsons, Jonathan (Ashley) Kite and Brent Nucci, and his father David Nucci; several nieces and nephews; and her cat, Gibbs.

In addition to her mother, she is predeceased by her first husband, Richard C. Spadafora; second husband, James M. Ramsey; and brother, James Flaherty.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, September 24 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Wednesday in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Monongahela Cemetery.
