Scott S. Taylor Obituary

Scott S. Taylor, 51, of Charleroi, passed away on Saturday May 8, 2021, after a yearlong battle with cancer. Born on April 22, 1970, he was the son of the late John Taylor and Donna (Gray) Taylor, who survives, of Charleroi.

He was a member of The Hallelujah Ministry, Charleroi, and had worked as an independent contractor and as a maintenance person for Davenport Hall.

Scott is survived by his wife, Jill (Martorella) Taylor; son, Scott Taylor, of Gettysburg; step-children, Jacob and Jordyn Jericho, of Charleroi; sister, Kim (Lou) Rialti, of Monessen; close friends, Barry Rach, of Charleroi and Richard Stoffer, of Donora; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Pete and Laurie Martorella, of Charleroi; several nieces and nephews; and his dogs, Apollo and LuLu.

In addition to his father, he is predeceased by his brother, John Taylor; and sister and brother-in-law, Donna “DeeDee” and Brian Naccarato.

Friends will be received on Saturday, May 15 from 1 to 4 pm, the time of services, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
