Sandra Manna Obituary

Sandra Mae Manna, 88, of Monongahela and formerly of New Kensington passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 at the Mon Valley Care Center, after a short illness. Born on November 14, 1936, she was the daughter of the late Charles M. Link, Sr. and Maida (Edwards) Link.

She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish and the former St. Joseph Parish of New Kensington. She was retired as a cafeteria worker for the Alcoa Plant in New Ken.

Affectionately known as 'Guck' by her family, she is survived by her sons, William Joseph Manna, and wife Cheryl, of Carlisle and Steven Manna, and wife Barbara, of Monongahela; grandchildren, Melissa Rutherford, and husband Drew, of Philadelphia, Kate Eaton, and husband Matt, of Harrisburg, Steven 'Sam' Manna, and wife Samantha, of Carnegie, Daniel Manna, and girlfriend Alexandra DiPietro, of Scott Twp., and Patrick Manna, of Monongahela; great-grandchildren, Penelope, Lily, Fox and Wells; sister, Sylvia Benson, of Boalsburg; sisters-in-law, Rhonda Link and Rosemary Hill; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Guck is predeceased by her husband, Joseph Anthony Manna, Jr.; brothers, William Link and Charles Link; and brothers-in-law, Art Benson and Walter Hill.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 am on Saturday, June 14 in the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:30 am on Saturday at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 624 Washington Ave., Charleroi.
