Ronald W. Griffith Obituary

Ronald W. Griffith, 65, of North Charleroi, died on June 5, 2016.  Born on May 31, 1951, he was the son of the late Lee and Esther Griffith.  

He was a graduate of the Art Institute of Pittsburgh.  He picked up a guitar at age 18 and began a musical career that included singing, keyboard, and drums, where he recorded many albums in his home studio with a Pink Floyd and James Taylor influence.  He had worked as the assistant manager of security at the Ice Palace in Tampa.  

Ron is survived by his sons, Ronald (Jame) Griffith, of Fayette City, and Dustin Griffith, of North Charleroi; brother, Tom Griffith; sisters, Eileen, Sandy, Carol, and Kathy; and grandchildren, Dustin, Jr, Kali, Autumn, and Hanna.  

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his former wife, Joyce Griffith.  

As per Ron's request,, there will be no visitation.  

Friends are invited to attend an informal memorial on Sunday, June 26 at 8 pm in the Charleroi Russian Club, 1024 McKean Avenue, Charleroi.
