Ronald E. Govenor, 79, of Charleroi, passed away on Wednesday, April 7, 2021. Born on September 11, 1941, he was the son of the late Emil and Phyllis Govenor.

He was retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel Allenport as a Foreman. He had a love for boating and was a chartered member of the Speers Boat Club and a member of the Charleroi Fishing Club in Everett, PA. He was an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoyed visiting his cabin near Somerset, PA. He was also a member of the Charleroi Elks and Legion.

Ronald is survived by his wife, Mary Ann (Hajduk) Govenor; son, Curtis Govenor, of Charleroi; daughter, Michelle Wadsworth, of Charleroi; granddaughter, Emilee Wadsworth; brothers, Bary (Mary) Govenor, of Pittsburgh and Tim (Mary Beth) Govenor, of Ohio; several nieces and nephews; and his very good friends, Ron Macko, of Speers and Ron Vandermer, of Monongahela.

Friends will be received on Sunday, April 11 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Monday in the funeral home with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
