Phillip Michael Caldwell, 67, of Fallowfield Twp. passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2024. Born on December 18, 1956 in Amarillo, TX., he was the son of the late Thomas William Caldwell, Sr. and Phyllis Rawlings Caldwell.

Phillip was an over the road truck driver for most of his life and was also a heavy equipment operator. He was a jack of all trades and could fix anything. He found a passion for teaching about the careers he loved in the later years of his life where he worked at Douglas Education Center where he taught heavy equipment and CDL classes. Phil enjoyed camping with family and cruises with his beautiful wife. He was the best husband, dad and papa to his beloved family. He was a super hero in the eyes of his grandchildren. He loved muscle cars, big trucks, and talking politics to anyone who wanted to argue. He could make anyone laugh. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him.

Phillip is survived by his wife, Susan (Welch) Caldwell; daughters, Kristina Caldwell (Thomas Myers), of Masontown, Cheryl Johnson (Chris McBride), of Charleroi, Charity Caldwell (Ben Bradshaw), of Monessen, and Heaven Caldwell, of Donora; grandchildren, Dominic, Alexis, Zander, Rico, Deja, Benny, Elijah, Noelle and Julian; great-grandchildren, Malakai and Paisley Grace; brothers, Thomas, John and Patrick Caldwell; sister, Sally Fowler (Tim); sisters-in-law, Mary Ellen Finegan, Sherry Voldeck and Quanita Herr; brothers-in-law, Bill Welch (Liz) and Gary Welch; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he is predeceased by brothers, Richard, Harry and Ray Caldwell; and his dogs, Piper and Lilly.

Friends will be received from 4 to 6 pm, the time of services, on Monday, November 25 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME.
