Patricia J. Martorella, 91, of Charleroi, died on Monday, November 24, 2014. Born on April 16, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Jacob and Angel Brunelle Oravitz.
She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, and was an avid bridge player and enjoyed refunding. She was a loving caregiver to her mother Angel and sister Thelma when they took ill.
Patricia is survived by her sons, Fran Martorella, of North Charleroi and Pete J. (Laurie)Martorella, Sr., of Charleroi; daughter, Patty Bachman, of Charleroi; grandchildren, Chris (Ange) and Ryan (Heather) Martorella, Todd, Adam, and Jake (Amy) Bachman, Robin (Adam) Jewell, Jody (Brian) Ulery, Jill Jericho (Scott Taylor), Sgt. Deana Orellana, and SPC. Pete (Courtney) Martorella, Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Alex, Vinnie, and Maddie Martorella, Caleb Bachman, Derek and Kayleigh Jewell, Zoe and Asher Ulery, and Jacob and Jordyn Jericho.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Peter Martorella; sister, Thelma Petrone; and infant child, Frank Martorella,
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. THERE WILL BE NO VISITATION ON SUNDAY. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, December 1, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
