Nancy M. Careatti Underwood, 60, of Charleroi, died on Wednesday, April 15, 2015.  Born on August 29, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Pauline Careatti.  

She was Catholic by faith, and was a licensed psychologist, having graduated from Duquesne University and practicing as Nancy M. Underwood M.Ed.  She previously served on the board of C.O.R.E., which had a special meaning to her because she was both a recipient and a donor.  She was also a member of the Red Hat Society and was an avid orchid grower.  

Nancy is survived by her ex-husband, Harold James Underwood, Jr., of Belle  Vernon; and close friend, Belinda Brova, of Washington.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her brothers, Andrew and James Careatti.  

Friends will be received from 2 to 7 p.m., the time of services, on Monday, April 20, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
