Mary Louise Fillippelli, 93, of Charleroi passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 11, 2025. Born on February 26, 1932 she was the daughter of the late Frank and Louise (Baker) Houston.

She was a member of St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, formerly Mother of Sorrows. She was a retired seamstress and book keeper for Singer Sewing. She also enjoyed cooking and baking and took great joy in raising her family.

Mrs. Fillippelli is survived by her daughter, Karen (Anthony) Hess, of Bethel Park; son, Glenn (Carol Serra) Fillippelli, of Georgia; ex-daughter-in-law, Carol Fillippelli, of Massachusetts; grandsons, Colby (Bridget) Fillippelli, Christopher (Kaylin) Fillippelli, Caleb (Shayla) Fillippelli and Canaan (Nicole Saucier) Fillippelli; and great-grandchildren, Eva, Graeme, Natalie, Abigail and Juliette.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Nello Fillippelli; and grandson, Tad Fillippelli.

Friends will be received from 3 to 7 pm on Friday, March 14 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME. Blessing services will be at 12:30 pm on Saturday, March 15 in the funeral home with interment following in Monongahela Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a local animal shelter of choice.
