Mary Jane Lessman, 79, of Charleroi passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024 in her home. Born on October 21, 1944 she was the daughter of the late James and Anna Smith.

She was Catholic by Faith and enjoyed doing crafts and crocheting blankets.

Mary Jane is survived by her children, Jack (Elaine) Lessman, of Charleroi and Kimberly (Robert) Booth, of Monongahela; grandchildren, Christine (Frank Porter) Lessman, Curtis Lessman, Tammy Lessman, Danielle Lessman, Eva Lessman, Abigail Lessman, and Bobby (Mandi) Booth; great-grandchildren, Mason, Jace, Holden, Noah, Grayson and Damon; brothers, James (Eloise) Smith, of Uniontown and David Smith, of Monongahela; sisters, Elizabeth (Frank) Bartolozzi, of Dunlevy and Patty Haywood, of Donora; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Curtis Jack Lessman; daughter, Tammy Ann Lessman; brother, Bill Smith, and sister-in-law, Joyce Smith.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 pm, the time of services, on Saturday, September 7 in the funeral home.

Interment will be private in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
