Mary Lourdes Rosick, 84, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 17, 2019. Born on December 10, 1934, she was the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Rita (Ligon) Krupka.
She worked as a registered nurse before starting her family, and maintained her license afterward. She was an extremely active member of her church where she held many volunteer positions, starting with St. Jerome's and currently Mary, Mother of the Church. She was a member of the Christian Mother's, Ladies Ancient Orders of Hibernians, Catholic Daughters of the Americas, and enjoyed playing euchre.
Mary is survived by her husband, John C. Rosick, Sr.; sons, James (Debora) Rosick, of Round Hill, VA, and Richard (Christine) Rosick, of Charleroi; daughters, Mary (Edward) Crum, of Washington, Lynda Misra, of Upper St. Clair, and Kathleen (Atul) Chaudhari, of Peters Twp.; grandchildren, Aaron, Cole, and Olivia Rosick, Samantha, Sarah, Ian, and Anna Chaudhari, and Nikhil and Angelina Misra; and nieces, Michelle Magiske-Treadwell, of Perryopolis, and Kelly Reynolds, of Wexford.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her son, John C. Rosick, Jr.,; sister, Jean Magiske; and grandson, Deven Chaudhari.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, January 20 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11 am on Monday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, with interment following in Calvary Cemetery.
