Margaret P. Brandeburg Russell, 93, the youngest daughter of Frank and Anna Kozej Brandeburg, and last surviving of eight siblings, passed away on March 15, 2018.
She was a lifelong resident of the Charleroi area, the widow of William S. Russell, and aunt to many nieces and nephews. She was a long term resident of Thorpe's P.C. Home, in North Charleroi, where she was very lovingly cared for in her final years. She enjoyed reading, gambling, puzzle books, and bacon (but not on Friday). She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church.
Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 18 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Monday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, with entombment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
