Linda D. Swaney, 67, of Charleroi, died on July 1, 2015. Born on August 2, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary Crayton.
She was a member of Garwood Baptist Church, and loved quilting, making stained glass, and singing in church. She was retired from US Steel Clairton Works as a Substation Inspector and had also worked at Lowe's in Belle Vernon and Washington and at Stablein's Wholesale for 8 years.
Linda is survived by her daughters, Ann (Shaun) Davis-Gluyas, of Charleroi, and Diana (David) Grubbs, of Tacoma, WA; brother, Robert Crayton, of Uniontown; long time friend, Jane Nicholson, of Charleroi; and her dachshund, Parker.
Friends will be received from 1 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, July 5 and from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. , the time of service, on Monday, July 6, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Pastor Cliff Reynolds will conduct the 3 p.m. service on Monday.
