Lean Marie Jurkiewicz, 93, of North Charleroi, passed away on January 15, 2019.  Born on June 6, 1925, she was the daughter of the late George Harry and Theresa (Benedetti) Mahan, and was raised by her late aunt Lena Benedetti Cain.  

She enjoyed Pirate's baseball, harness racing at The Meadows, and watching her grandson.  She left school as a young lady to work in an armament plant during WWII.  

Lena is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Robert L. and Karen Jurkiewicz, of Charleroi; grandson, Robert J. Jurkiewicz, and wife Melissa, of Irwin; grandchildren, Addison Grace and Max Robert Jurkiewicz; and several nieces and nephews including Deborah Mahan, of Monessen.  

In addition to her parents and aunt, she is predeceased by her husband, Chester Jurkiewicz, in 2000; and brothers, Laverne and Albert Mahan.  

As per Lena's wishes, visitation and funeral services will be private.
