Kenneth W. Briggs, Sr., 78, of North Charleroi passed away on August 4, 2025 at Forbes Hospital. Born on June 3, 1947, he was the son of the late Cecil and Betty (Feranato) Briggs.

He retired from Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel, Allenport in 2003 and was a life member of the Charleroi Belgian Club and the 10th St AC. He was a huge Penn State and Steeler's football fan, having attended the Super Bowl's in the 1970's.

Ken is survived by his wife, Nina Briggs; sons, Kenneth W. Briggs, Jr., and wife Karen, of Charleroi and James Briggs, and wife Shelly, of Carroll Twp.; grandchildren, Kenneth W. Briggs, III, Aaron J. (Kendra O'Neill) Briggs, Christopher (Andre Scott) Thorpe , Kirby (Josh Ashcraft) Thorpe , and Hadley (Ben) Zucconi; great-grandchildren, Mason, Ayden, Evelynn and Lillian; sisters-in-law, Loretta Stasicha, of Fallowfield Twp. and Mary Jo (Jim) DeRosa, of Monongahela; brother-in-law, Bob (Shannon) Mitchell, of Florida; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Cecilia Overbeay and Nancy Briggs; and brother, Robert Briggs.

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 pm on Friday, August 8 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME.
