Joyce Ann Harris

Joyce Ann Harris, 76, of Charleroi, passed away on Saturday, September 8, 2018, at UPMC Shadyside.  Born on January 16, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Sara Balieu.  

She was a member of Speers United Methodist Church and was a graduate of the Pittsburgh Beauty Academy.  She enjoyed gambling at the Meadows, shopping, and caring for her family.  

Joyce is survived by her husband of 57 years, David Patrick Harris, Sr.; children, David Patrick Harris, Jr., and wife Eva, of Fallowfield Twp., Lisa Reed, and husband Don, of Rostraver Twp., Jamie Harris, of Charleroi, and Brian Harris, of Weirton, WV.; grandchildren, John Russell, Courtney (Robert) Young, Donald and Dylan Reed, Camryn Harris, and Killian Donley; great-grandchildren, Axel and Trent Young; brother, Arthur Balieu; nieces, Lori Spina and Cathy (Robert) Dean; nephew, Charles Balieu; several cousins; brothers-in-law, Kenneth (Donna) Harris, John (Debra) Harris,  Lawrence Harris, and Kevin Harris; sisters-in-law : Carol (Carl) Harris Witmyer, Nancy (Byron) Harris Parkins, Kay (Richard) Harris Schrock, and Deborah (Lawrence) Harris Ging; and best friend Donna Kondratik.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister-in-law, Cathy Balieu; and nephew-in-law, Sam Spina.  

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, September 13, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.  Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, at Speers United Methodist Church, 810 Jane Ave., Speers, with interment following at Belle Vernon Cemetery.
