John "Bill" Cole, 86, of Mapleview, died on October 22, 2016.  Born on April 13, 1930, he was the son of the late John T. and Lena M. Cole.  

He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, a charter member of the California Boat Club, and a long time member of the 10th St. A.C.  He retired from Van Beck Electric in 2013 after 42 years of service.  

Bill is survived by his wife of 58 years, LaVerne Cole; children, Suzan (Jeff) Marcischak, of Houston, PA, Jack (Dana) Cole, of Fallowfield Twp., Deborah Haywood, of Mapleview, and Tracey (Keith) Marucci, of Fallowfield Twp.; grandchildren, Shannon (John) Gagliardi, Monica (Brian) Wagenhofer, Rachel Cole, Brittany Haywood, Nicholas Marucci, and Cole Marucci; one great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sisters, Connie Boddice and Dorothy Rossell; and brothers, Thomas, Howard, and Donald Cole.  

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Monday, October 24, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
