Jodele Vandernitte Obituary

Jodele “Jodi” Vandernitte, 68, of Charleroi, passed away peacefully in her home on Monday, September 28, 2020. Born on April 9, 1952, she was the daughter of the late James and Mary Ann (Guzzi) Huber.

She was a member of the First Christian Church of Charleroi and she was retired from Corning Glass. She was a great cook and she loved taking cruises and spending time with family.

Jodi is survived by her husband, Joseph Vandernitte; son Jamie Kepich, and wife Tonya, of Fallowfield Twp.; grandchildren, Jayme Lee and Jace Kepich; sisters, Cheryl Blair (husband Tim, deceased), of Charleroi, and Mary Ann Cooke (husband Thomas, deceased), of Charleroi; sisters-in-law, Grace Lynn Arter, of Charleroi, and Betty Jo Matesich (husband David, deceased), of Charleroi; mother-in-law, Grace Vandernitte (husband Joseph, deceased), of Charleroi; a special nephew that she considered a grandson, Declan Blair; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, October 1. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Friday in the funeral home.
