Janet Backo Obituary
Janet L. Backo, 81, of Charleroi passed away on Thursday, January 23, 2025. Born on August 11, 1943 she was the daughter of the late Charles and Bruna (Carcella) Backo.
She was retired from The Maples, in Charleroi.
Janet is survived by her sister, Charlotte (William) Dacko, of Charleroi; niece, Kim (Greg) Ingold, of Florida; nephews, Jason (Lisa) Dacko, of Newell, Troy (Heather) Balsano, of Charleroi, Charles (Colleen) Balsano, of Belle Vernon, and Dennis Balsano, of Pittsburgh; great-nieces and great-nephews, Chaz (Ari) Balsano, Madison (Zach) Balsano, Maggie Balsano, Max Dacko, and Sara (Jon) Goerhing, and their children Owen and Connor.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a sister, Rita Balsano.
Friends will be received from 10 am to 12 noon, the time of Blessing services on Saturday, January 25 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
