James E. Williams III, 44, of Donora, passed away on Monday, July 6, 2015, in his home, after a lengthy illness. Born on April 21, 1971, he was the son of James E. Williams, Jr., of Charleroi, and the late Charlene Moffit Williams.
He was a member of The Orchard Christian Fellowship, in Monessen, where he was a Deacon, and where he and his wife were the youth directors of the Fishgate youth group. He graduated from Charleroi High School in 1990 and worked for MMVTA as a bus driver and dispatcher. He was a member of the Charleroi Belgian Club, and was an avid gardener and fisherman who kept his trophy bass proudly on display.
James is survived, in addition to his father, by his wife, Sherry Williams; son Adam; step-children, Joseph Minno, of Monessen, and Shayley (Nathan Walls) Hohn and Shachia (Chico O'Hair) Hohn, all of Richmond; granddaughter, Auri Kay O'Hair; sister, Amy (Jim Durinsky) Williams, of Charleroi; nephew, Nigel Summers; uncle, Charles B. (Glady) Moffit, Jr., of Monongahela; aunts, Cindy (Dave) Hanna, of Monessen, Diane (Gary) Gray, of Charleroi, and Alice Lauderback, of Charleroi; numerous cousins; and his Pekingese, Jasper.
In addition to his mother, he is predeceased by his grandparents, Chuck and Lois Moffit and James and Ethel Williams.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m., the time of services, on Wednesday, July 8, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. The 8 p.m. service will be conducted by Pastor John Custer.
