J. Richard Pearson, 59, of Mapleview, passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017.  Born on June 15, 1957, he was the son of the late John and Martha Pearson.  

He was retired from World Kitchen, where he was a kiln operator.  

Rick is survived by his wife of 37 years, Janet (Yates) Pearson; daughter, Mellissa Pearson, and fiancée Dave Brown, of Ambridge; a granddaughter due in May; sister, Judith Stish (Steve Molish), of Coal Center; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.  He was a dog lover, especially his Huskies, Jake, who precedes him in death, and Jethro, who survives.  

There will be no visitation.  Friends may attend a graveside funeral service at 11 a.m. on Saturday, February 25, at Mon Valley Memorial Park.
