Services were held on Wednesday, October 12, for Irene Joy Padovani, 87, of Carroll Twp., who died on Monday, October 10, 2016.  Born on January 8, 1929, she was the daughter of the late Arden and Ann Padovani.  

She was a member of St. Damien of Molokai Parish, and was a strong, independent woman who enjoyed her family and friends.  

She is survived by her nieces, Cindy Hetherington, of Carroll Twp., Lisa Padovani, of Monongahela, and Lori (Kevin) Wassilchak, of Georgia; great-nieces and great-nephews, Mark Hubbard, Shawna Padovani, Avery and Arden Wassilchak, and Megan (Stephen) Vesley; and great-great-nephew, Ayden Vesley.  

Interment was in Monongahela Cemetery.
