Helen L. Yeager, 90, of Charleroi, died on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.  Born on July 4, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Ida Brassart Gerard.  

She was Protestant by faith, and had worked briefly with the Red Cross.  

Helen is survived by her daughter, Crystal Dooley, and husband Tim, of Charleroi; sisters, Eileen Nesti and Margaret Brutout, and husband Earl; grandson, Todd Dooley, and wife Leigh Anne, of Charleroi; granddaughters, Erin Rongaus, of Speers, and Jill Lauder, and husband William, of Belle Vernon; great-grandchildren, David Alexander, Shayn Dooley, Alix and Nico Rongaus, and Elle Lauder; great-great-granddaughter, Cali Logan Dooley; and many nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Cleo Yeager, in 2001; and brother-in-law, Roger Nesti.  

Friends will be received from 10 a.m. to 12 noon, the time of services, on Friday, May 1, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director, with interment following in Monongahela Cemetery.
