Helen Luckasevic Obituary

Helen Luckasevic, 94, of Charleroi, died on Monday, March 14, 2016.  Born on November 30, 1921, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Kazmira Pyzynski.  

She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, where  she was active in the C. D. of A, and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers, and had worked as a receiving clerk at Miller's, in Charleroi, and as a secretary at Corning.  She was an avid card player and liked to stay active by exercising at the senior center.  She was also a member of the Charleroi Golden Agers and was the Treasurer of the Fit Club, in Pricedale.  

Helen is survived by her sons, Edward (Kathy) Luckasevic, of Nottingham Twp., and Alexander (Kimberley) Luckasevic, Jr., of Brier Hill; daughter, Janet (Daniel) Bobik, of Land O' Lakes, FL; sister-in-law, Julia Turtzer, of Charleroi; grandchildren, Todd (Ann) Luckasevic, Jason (Kelly) Luckasevic, Alyssa Luckasevic, Alexander Luckasevic III, Craig (Dana) Bobik, and Chad (Laura) Bobik; 8 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Alexander Luckasevic, Sr.; brother and sister-in-law, Robert and Mary Pyzynski; brother, Henry Parker; sisters and brothers-in law, Genevieve and William Pressburger and Eleanor and William Sable; and sister-in-law, Mary Tutena.  

Friends will be received from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, March 16, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, Funeral Director.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Thursday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
