George J. Schoener, Jr., 82, of Charleroi, passed away on November 13, 2021. Born on March 11, 1939, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Anna (Sopko) Schoener.

He was an avid sports fan, enjoyed playing golf with his buddies and was retired from PennDOT.

George is survived by his sisters, Sylvia Schoener, of Charleroi, and Noreen Ann Schoener, of Arizona.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his sister and brother-in-law, Gloria and Donald Neill.

Friends will be received from 10 to 11 am, the time of services, on Saturday, November 20 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME. Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
