Margaret Evelyn Tomcanin, 95, of Charleroi, passed away on Monday, August 6, 2018.  Born on February 4, 1923, she was the daughter of the late James and Lula Calderone.  

She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, and was an avid bingo player.  She had worked as a waitress for the Charleroi Hotel.  

Evelyn is survived by her son, John C. Mutschler, and wife Patrice, of North Huntington; grandchildren, MarciJo, Amber and James Mutschler; sisters, Dolores Carey, Janice Hill, and Sally Clark; and brother, Bill Calderone.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her first husband, Bernard A. Mutschler; second husband, Edward G. Tomcanin; son, Bernard “Bucky” Mutschler; sister, Josephine Brown; brother James “Buddy” Calderone; sister-in-law, Wanda Mutschler; and 5 great-grandchildren.

There will be no public visitation.  Guests may attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. on Friday, August 10, in Mary, Mother of the Church.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
