Evelyn Sedlak Obituary

Evelyn Sedlak, 92, of North Charleroi passed away peacefully in her home on Sunday, June 21, 2026. Born on August 17, 1933 she was the daughter of the late William and Evelyn (Desellems) Miller.


She was a member of St Andrew the Apostle Parish and was a 1950 graduate of Monessen High School. She was a retired office worker from Fox Grocery.


Evelyn is survived by her daughters, Carol (John) Taylor, of Monongahela, Susan (Albert) Gardiner, of GA, Janet (Edward) Gallagher, of Easton, PA, and Dawn (Bob) Janiszewski, of VA; grandchildren, Emily and Claire Sedlak, Dean (Kyra) Nones, William (Jillian) Gardiner, Julie (Alex) Gardiner, Sam Gardiner, and Zachary Janiszewski; and great-grandchildren, Haley and Noah Gardiner.


In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, William Sedlak; son, William 'Bill' Sedlak; and sister, Mary Ada Zaucha.


Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 am on Friday, June 26 at St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, 624 Washington Avenue, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10 to 10:30 am before Mass in the church.
