Eric Sauritch
Obituary
Eric M. Sauritch 57, formerly of North Charleroi passed away on Friday, February 24, 2023, in Uniontown. Born on September 3, 1965, he was the son of the late Manefred and Carol Sauritch.
Eric was a Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne as well as the 101st Airborne. He was a Sergeant-At-Arms at the 82nd Airborne Division, a proud member of the Lions Club, and a member of the disabled veterans of Fayette County. He worked as a Direct Support Lead at Step By Step, with special residents, Chris and Jeremy. Eric loved, nature, hiking, birds, camping, playing guitar and was a very giving, caring man and he helped so many people throughout his life. He had a masters degree in environmental sciences from California University of Pennsylvania.
He is survived by his sister Carole (Glenn) Poston, of Winter Garden, Fl.; and niece, Courtney Todd, of Clermont, Fl. He will be sadly missed by best friend Steve Pollacci, girlfriend Jackie Kangas, and all of the Sauritch family and friends.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 am on Wednesday, March 22 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
