Elizabeth V. Mendola, 98, of Speers Hill, died on Tuesday, April 28, 2015.  Born on October 3, 1917, she was the daughter of the late George and Mary Cherven Hega.  

She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, the Christian Mother's, and the church choir.  

She is survived by sons, Edward Mendola, and wife Valerie, of Fallowfield Twp., and Gary Mendola, and wife Mary Ann, of Monongahela; sister, Dorothy Wilkinson, of Charleroi; grandchildren, Edward Mendola, and wife Jennifer, of Cranberry Twp., and Eric Mendola, and wife Ami, of New Hope, PA; and great-grandchildren, Trevor, Mitchell, Ian, and Avery Mendola.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Edward Mendola, in 2007; and siblings, William, Steve, Daniel, Clara, Julia, Mary, Helen, Anna, and Joseph.  

As per Elizabeth's wishes, there will be no visitation.  Friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 30, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
