Edward Rodebaugh Obituary

Edward G. Rodebaugh Jr., 91, of Weedville, PA, formerly of Charleroi, PA, passed away peacefully on March 31, 2026, at UPMC Hamot in Erie, PA, with his four children by his side.

He was the son of Edward and Mary Rodebaugh. Ed was a graduate of Monessen High School and proudly served four years in the U.S. Air Force. Following his service, he dedicated 40 years to Wheeling-Pittsburgh Steel before retiring.

Ed married the love of his life, Dolores E. Urda, and together they shared 65 wonderful years of marriage. They were blessed with four loving children: Debbie (Rick) Hansen, Eileen (Dave) Pipik, Eddie (Caroline) Rodebaugh, and Tim Rodebaugh, who was Pap’s devoted full-time caregiver and with whom he made his home. He also leaves behind his faithful and loyal companion, his dog, Booty. Affectionately known as “Pap”, Ed was a devoted family man who found great joy in hunting and fishing. He served as a mentor to his sons, grandsons, and granddaughters, sharing not only his knowledge but his steady presence and love. Pap was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by his grandchildren, Eric Weaver, Leanna (Cameron) Wilson, Ricky (Kristy) Hansen, Josh Hansen, Scott (Carli) Weaver, and Marissa Hansen; and his great-grandchildren, Nash, Isla and Brooks Weaver, and Kate Hansen.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Dolores, and his grandson, Eric Weaver.

Family and friends will be received on Monday, April 6, 2026, from 2 to 6 p.m. at CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME. A blessing service will follow at 6 p.m.
