Dorothy Marie (Zippay) Yagodich, 84, of Fallowfield Twp., passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family, on Sunday, January 6, 2019.  Born on May 13, 1934, she was the daughter of the late George Paul and Mary Dorothy (Pavlekovsky) Zippay.  

She was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and the Confraternity of Christian Mothers.  She was a retired writer for the Tribune Review, where she wrote human interest articles, and she was a member of the Washington County Conservation District.  

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Milan T. Yagodich, and wife Dina, of Damascus, MD, and Dr. Kenneth E. Yagodich, and wife Gwen, of Evansville, IN; granddaughters, Sara, Julie, and Lucy Yagodich, of Damascus, MD; brother, Edmond Zippay, and wife Cheryl, of Fallowfield Twp.; and sister-in-law, Shirley Zippay, of Fallowfield Twp.  

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Amil Miller Yagodich, married on August 9, 1952; and brother, Robert Zippay.  

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, January 9, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Thursday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
