Dorothy J. Santoro, 88, of Charleroi, passed away on Friday, April 30, 2021. Born on February 12, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Angelo and Yvonne (Balieu) Capella.

She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother to her loving family.

Dorothy is survived by her sons, Ken Santoro and wife Janet, of Washington, Tom Santoro and wife Teresa, of Charleroi, and Terry Santoro and wife Alicia, of Perryopolis; grandchildren, Christina (Erik) Bozarth, Justin (Amanda) Santoro, Haylie (Patrick) Walther, Chelsy (Joshua) Kemp, Kylie (Michael) Horrell, Zachary Santoro, Mallory (Joseph) Scalise, Hannah (Peter) Lainge, and Elijah Santoro; and great-grandchildren, Zane, Violet, Barrett, Anabelle, Saline, Samantha, Dominic, Joshua, Carmen, and Kalani.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Sam Santoro.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, May 2 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Monday in the funeral home followed by interment in Monongahela Cemetery.
