Donald "Skinny" Pordash, 83, of North Charleroi, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018.  Born on August 1, 1934, he was the son of the late Adam Steve and Margaret Pordash.  

He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan.  He was a retired clerk from the Thorofare, in Charleroi.  His was the best and most loving husband, father, and grandfather, and had a special relationship with his granddaughter Chloe, whom he helped raise, was his best friend, and held an interest in her basketball games.  

Donald is survived by his wife, Eileen Ray Pordash; sons; Donnie (Kristin) Pordash, of Texas, and Randy (Tammy) Pordash, of Brownsville; daughters, Tina (Bryan) Ricci, of Florida, and Stacie Pordash, of N. Charleroi; grandchildren, Ryan (Alison) Pordash, Katie Pordash, Shawn (Danielle) Pordash, and Chloe Pordash; great-grandson, Cooper Pordash; brothers, Arthur Pordash, of Ohio, and Adam (Claudia) Pordash, of Charleroi; sister Irene Iacobelli, of Ohio; sister-in-law, Alberta Ray, of N. Charleroi; several nieces and nephews; and his Yorkie, Rubie.  

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a son, Billy Pordash, in 1997; sister, Dolores (Frank) Geleti; twin brother, Ronald Pordash; and brothers-in-law, Marion Knute Ray and Tony Iacobelli.  

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 6, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.  Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, Charleroi, followed by private interment.
