David M. Smith, 68, of Monongahela passed away on December 4, 2024. Born on September 16, 1956 he was the son of the late James and Anna Smith.

He was retired from Kopper's in Monessen and was a frequent visitor to the Monongahela Senior Center.

David is survived by his sons, James Smith, of Charleroi, Thomas (Rose) Smith, of Blacksburg, VA, and Matthew Smith, of Charleroi; grandson, Alexander Smith; brother, James (Eloise) Smith, of Uniontown; and sisters, Elizabeth (Frank) Bartolozzi, of Dunlevy and Patty Haywood, of Donora.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by a brother, Bill Smith; sister, Mary Jane Lessman; and the mother of his children, Joyce A. Smith.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:45 pm, the time of services, on Saturday, December 7 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME.
