Curtis Jack Lessman, 76, of Charleroi passed away on March 14, 2023. Born on October 8, 1946 he was the son of the late Jack and Mabel (Kistler) Lessman.
He is a veteran of the US ARMY, having served in Vietman and is a member of the American Legion Post 22 of Charleroi. He was retired as a shift manager from US Steel Clairton Works and he enjoyed reading, gardening, camping and spending time with his grandchildren.
Curtis is survived by his wife, Mary Jane (Smith) Lessman; son, Jack (Elaine) Lessman, of Charleroi; daughter, Kimberly (Robert) Booth, of Monongahela; step-daughter, Jean Litavic; sister, Dorothy (Snooky) Shrum, of Warren, OH; brothers, Wayne (Donna) Lessman, of Carroll Twp., Douglas Lessman, of Charleroi, and Richard Lessman, of Donora; grandchildren, Christine (Frank Porter) Lessman, Curtis Lessman, Tammy Lessman, Danielle Lessman, Eva Lessman, Abigail Lessman, Ashley Litavic, and Bobby (Mandi) Booth; and great-grandchildren, Mason, Jace, Holden, Grayson, Damon, Tamera, Mariah, Ciamara, and a baby boy to be born.
In addition to his parents he is predeceased by a brother, Jack Lessman; and daughter, Tammy Ann Lessman.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Friday, March 17 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Funeral services will be at 11 am on Saturday in the funeral home with private interment in Belle Vernon Cemetery.
