Christopher L. Huweart, 48, of Belle Vernon passed away on Friday May 17, 2024 at UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born on January 12, 1976 he was the son of the late Eugene Huweart and Betty Pierce.

He was a 1995 graduate of Belle Vernon Area High School and had worked construction his entire life. He was a very social and outgoing guy who loved to play video games and hang out outdoors and at his local watering holes.

Chris is survived by his fiancee, Tara Martin; the family he built with Tara, her daughters, Ashlee Clark (Ray) and Kalynn Campbell (Bubba), grandchildren, Josalin, Ellie, Alora and Granger; his sister, Sara Pierce (Kevin); his brother, Miles 'Spanky' Pierce; nephew, Brayden Pierce; grandmother, Carolyn Koher; aunts, Debbie Owens (Jim) and Robin Koher; several cousins; and a son.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his grandfather, Marion 'Bud' Koher; and his beloved dog, Bella.

A memorial service to celebrate Chris' life will be announced at a later date.
