Betty Lou Tomaceski, 88, of Charleroi, passed away on June 5, 2020, while under the care of her daughters in Massachusetts. Born on June 26, 1931, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Stella (Stukin) Deutchki.
She was a member of the former Mary, Mother of the Church Parish and was a retired bank teller for Pittsburgh National Bank.
Betty is survived by her husband, John W. Tomaceski; daughters, Valerie Couture, and husband Leo, and Joan Tomaceski, and husband Frank Stasiowski, of Massachusetts; grandchildren, Amanda (David) Bernabei and Jonathan Couture, of MA; great-grandchildren, Elle and Aden Bernabei; brother Frank Deutchki, of Ohio; sister, Anne Ochkie, of Pittsburgh; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by a son, John Michael Tomaceski; and siblings, Mary Wheeler, Olga Deutchki, Stella Brado, Helen Gontarsky, and George Deutchki.
Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, June 10. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 am on Thursday in St. Andrew the Apostle Parish, Charleroi, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Guests are asked to obey personal protection and social distancing guidelines.
