Alice E. Lauderback, 74, of Charleroi, passed away on Friday, October 22, 2021 at her daughter's home in Webster, NY. Born on October 3, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Lois (Reis) Moffit.
She was Catholic by faith and was a founding member of the local Red Hat Society and was a former member of the Charleroi Belgian Club. She loved to host parties, do crafts and home interiors, shop, play cards and gamble, and was a loving and dedicated grandmother. She was retired as the controller for Merit Contracting.
Alice is survived by her daughters, Jill (Bob) Marefka, of Webster, NY, and Amanda (Frank Pica) Roberts, of Charleroi; grandchildren, Saray Elizabeth Marefka, Virginia Roberts, and Jackson Roberts; brother Charles B. (Glady Beveridge) Moffit, Jr., of Monongahela; several nieces and nephews; many longtime friends who were more like family; and her dog and cat, Java and Pumpkin.
In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, John 'Jack' Lauderback; and sister and brother-in law, Charlene and Jim Williams.
Friends will be received from 10 to 11:45 am, the time of services, on Saturday, October 30 in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director.
Private interment will be in Monongahela Cemetery.
