Albert Ferrara, 88, of Charleroi, died on January 23, 2016.  Born on September 18, 1927, he was the son of the late Enrico and Algisa Ferrara.  

He was catholic by faith, was a veteran of the US Army, and was retired from Corning Glass.  

Albert is survived by his wife, Helen Culbertson Ferrara; daughter, Debby (Jerry) Chrzaszcz, and their children Aaron and Nicole, of Richmond, VA; sons, Henry (Pamela) Ferrara, of Rockport, MA, and Terry Ferrara, and his sons, Jonathan, Christopher, and Nicholas, of Swansea, MA; step-son, Gary (Susan) Greco, of Fallowfield Twp.; brothers, Bart Ferrara, of Monessen, and Gino Ferrara, of Fayette City; 2 step-granddaughters; and 4 step-great-grandchildren.  

Services will be held in the Spring and are under the direction of the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, Funeral Director.
