Alan Pavlekovsky Obituary
Alan John Pavlekovsky, 57, of Charleroi, died on Tuesday, May 17, 2017, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital. Born on July 20, 1958, he was the son of the late John and Dorothy Pavlekovsky.
He was a member of Mary, Mother of the Church, where he was a member of the Parish Council, and was a Eucharistic minister. He was an excellent swimmer in his younger days, and was a very talented magician. He worked as a patient van driver, as many people fondly remember him driving them to Man Valley Hospital.
Alan is survived by his long time fiancé, JoAnn Kostolansky, of Charleroi; as well as numerous loving cousins and their children.
Friends will be received from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, May, 20, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME, 819 Fallowfield Ave., Charleroi, Joseph A. Lopez, funeral director. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, in Mary, Mother of the Church, with interment following in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Charleroi Area Food Pantry, 828 Meadow Ave., Charleroi, PA 15022.
