Cecilia V. Pardus

Cecilia V. Pardus, 89, of Monessen, died peacefully on Thursday, September 19, 2019 in her home surrounded by her 5 children. Cecilia was born in North Charleroi on April 26, 1930, daughter of the late Mary and Karl Rauchfuss.

Cecilia was a 1948 graduate of Monessen High School and a 1952 graduate of West Penn Hospital School of Nursing. She was an E.R. nurse at Mon Valley Hospital for 20 plus years. She was a member of Epiphany of Our Lord Church of Monessen and the CD of A.

Survivors include her children, Renee (Ron) Bartlett, of Pittsburgh, Henry D. Pardus Jr., of Monessen, Benjamin W. (Jennifer) Pardus, of Raleigh N.C., Cia (Frank) Pardus, of Olney, MD, and Carleen (Harold) Pardus, of Pittsburgh; four grandchildren, Kate and Allyson Bartlett and Kristine and Jonathan Pardus; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is predeceased by her husband, Henry D. Pardus; and siblings, Carl, Mary, Frank, and Joe Rauchfuss.

Committal service and burial will be at 11 am on Monday, September 23 at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies.
