Joseph A. Lopez
Funeral Director
Born and raised in Belle Vernon, Joe got his start in funeral service in 2005, after graduating from Penn State University and The Pittsburgh Institute of Mortuary Science. He worked for the Bekavac Family Funeral Homes for nearly 6 years before being asked to join Carl in the Spallino Funeral Home. He is a member of many local clubs and is a member of Mary, Mother of the Church. Joe resides at the funeral home with his wife, Kathryn Pireaux, son, Santino, and cats, Fluffy and Kitty.

Carl J. Spallino
Funeral Director
Carl started in the funeral business in 1969, working for all of the funeral homes in Charleroi. After returning from a tour of duty in Vietman, he established the Carl J. Spallino Funeral Home in 1975. He is active in many local service groups and is an active parishioner and usher at Mary, Mother of the Church. Carl and his wife Carol have a daughter and son-in-law, Lisa and Dave Sims, and a beautiful Granddaughter, Keira.

Funeral Staff
T.K. has been a valuable member of the staff since 2013. Born, raised, and still residing in Charleroi, he enjoys his retirement by helping at the funeral home and volunteering at the Belgian Club. T.K. is active in Mary, Mother of the Church and has 2 sons, Travis and Logan, and 2 grandchildren, Tucker and Chloe.

Hearse Driver
John is our hearse driver and he also helps with daily operations. He resides in Charleroi and has extensive knowledge of all of the churches and cemeteries in the area.
