Dean Zelenski

Dean Zelenski, 64, of Charleroi passed away on Monday, March 4, 2024 after a brief illness. Born on April 2, 1959 he was the son of the late Robert and Ida (Bonitati) Zelenski.

He was a retired from the International Paper Supply Company (IPSCO), where he was a manager. He was a member of the Italian Unita Club (IUC) and their duckpin bowling league and was an avid fisherman and had belonged to numerous golf leagues. He also enjoyed caring for his fish tank at home.

Dean is survived by his wife, Sharon (Hayes) Zelenski; daughter, Jacqueline (Steven) Gray, of Charleroi; son, Darryl (Brittany) Zelenski, of Irwin; grandchildren, Erica and Kelsea Gray and Dominic and Carter Zelenski; brother, Robert Zelenski, of Fallowfield Twp.; sister-in-law, Jacqui King, of Imperial; brother-in-law, Doug (Stella) Hayes, of Florida; numerous nieces and nephews; and his shih-tzu, Gizzy.

In addition to his parents, he is predeceased by his grandparents, Rebecca and Mario Bonitati; infant sister, Catherine Zelenski; and sister-in-law, Marlene Zelenski.

Friends will be received on Friday, March 8 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 7:30, the time of services, in the CARL J. SPALLINO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION.
